Clinical Supervisor/HBTS
General Description: Full-time, Part-time and per diem positions needed to train and supervise HBTS treatment staff in implementation of HBTS Treatment Plan, develop individual treatment plan and relevant measurement systems; design and assist in the management of research projects; participate in program development activities as designated by the director; provide parent training, consult to public schools. Promote an individual focus that supports dignity, protection of rights and furthers the organization’s mission, philosophy and values.
Minimum Qualifications: The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Must be a Rhode Island licensed health care professional eligible to provide clinical supervision as outline in State of Rhode Island Department of Human Services Certification Standards for Providers of Home Based Therapeutic Services (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, RN with a Masters Degree, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist). A minimum of 3 years working with children and families in a home based setting preferred. Minimum of three years working with children or adults with special health care needs.

Commit to organizational quality initiatives by participating in programs that will assure quality improvements and team processes, including regular attendance at staff meetings. Oversee the development and implementation of individual treatment programs; develop and maintain appropriate behavior analytic measurement systems for individual child goals and objectives. Develop individual child goals and objectives. Implement relevant staff management instruments. Organize structure of teaching environments. Supervise and train all specialized treatment workers. Develop proposals for funding for children for home-based programs. Follow all agency guidelines and department specific policies

Adult Foster Care Provider
Department: Adult Foster Care
General Description: Adult Foster Care Providers are contractors who open their homes and hearts to individuals with developmental disabilities to provide living arrangements. Providers receive tax free stipend paid twice per month.
Minimum Qualifications: Must pass background checks, pass home inspection and agree to terms of service as specified in the Adult Foster Care Provider agreement and the subcontractor agreement
Job Responsibilities: As specified in the Adult Foster Care Provider Agreement and subcontractor agreement including but not limited to: providing nutritionally balanced meals, assistance with personal hygiene as needed, assistance with selection and purchases of personal clothing and accessories, money management, encouragement in maintaining community relationships, assist with school, day services, or employment of individual, ensure the provision of 24 hour support/unless otherwise specified in support plan, and use own vehicle to transport individual to medical, recreational, and other necessary trips.

HBTS Worker

General Description: Part-time positions available: Following agency and state guidelines, provide specialized treatment and/or treatment support to children aged 0-21 years in all areas identified through HBTS plans. Underlying all functions is the mission to help those we serve lead richer, fuller and more independent lives.
Minimum Qualifications: Be at least 19 years of age; have a high-school degree or equivalent, and one year of supervised experience working with children, or Have at least 3 years of experience with adults with developmental disabilities to work as home-based workers, or Have an Associates degree in human services (i.e., psychology, counseling, child development, education, nursing, etc), or Demonstrate competency to work with children with special health care needs as evidenced by provider-agency’s skills validation requirement

Direct Support Professional
Department: Individual Supports
General Description:Part time, per diem positions available in the northern Rhode Island area. Direct Support Professionals provide direct assistance and support services to address the needs of individuals with disabilities and/or their families. The Direct Support Professional reports directly to and receives weekly and/or as needed support and supervision from their Team Supervisor and/or program director.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required At least 18 years of age Associates or Bachelor Degree in Human Services or related field/one year experience working with people with disabilities and their families preferred Safe driving record, current driver’s license, personal vehicle, and current motor vehicle liability insurance required
Job Responsibilities: The position includes the following responsibilities. Responsibilities are based upon the needs of the individuals and families and may vary depending on their unique needs and goals. Supports individuals and when appropriate their families in identifying need areas and goals that the individual wishes to achieve. Supports individuals in increasing and/or maintaining their everyday independence within their homes and communities. Supports individuals to participate in activities or events of their choice, to be active members in their communities, to overcome any identified barriers to being included in any chosen activity, to maintain and/or expand personal relationships, etc. Assists individuals to further their social and communication skills. Provides a sounding board for the individual’s day to day concerns, as well as, encourages individuals to increase their own self advocacy skills surrounding pertinent issues. Encourages individuals to understand and protect their Human Rights. Encourages and respects choice making in all areas of life and when needed informs individual of natural consequences of choices made. Supports individuals in achieving and maintaining their own personal well being and safety. Assists individuals with medical, dental, and other appointments as needed. Assists individuals with maintaining their benefits as needed. Assists individuals in connecting with community resources as needed. Provides transportation as needed. Maintains open communication and works with all team members. Completes needed documentation that may include weekly time sheet, daily progress notes, ISP objective tracking forms, incident reports, medical and dental forms, etc., in a timely manner. Provides reliable and appropriate service to individuals and families. Maintains necessary certifications (CPR, First Aid, Ind. Supports, Family Supports, etc.) and completes all required trainings in a timely manner in accordance with training requirements. Participates in routine established for support and supervision with direct supervisor. Provides supports/services as directed by families who have established supports for their family member. Family Support Staff
General Description: Provides direct assistance and support to individuals and families receiving supports under the Family Support program.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. At least 18 years of age. Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required. Safe driving record, transportation and ability to pass extensive background checks.
Job Responsibilities: Supports individual/family to increase or maintain independence within their home and community. Encourages human rights, identifies need areas and goals, assists individuals to further their social and communication skills, completes required documentation and reporting, maintains required certifications/training.
