Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer options range from service on a Committee to assistance with office support, to direct support of individuals in the community or at recreation events. Please complete the online employment application and indicate that you wish to volunteer, or contact Human Resources at 508-226-1445 to discuss opportunities.
Current Opportunities:
Recreation Aides: Come and join the fun! We have many social and sports events each month in the community. Provide assistance with our Recreation Staff to connect children and adults with their community at bowling leagues, unified softball, fitness clubs, billiards, and community field trips.
Provide assistance to help individuals with disabilities participate in Arts & Crafts, Dance, Computer Classes, and Health Education Classes.
Committees:
Development Committee: Help with our Annual Pancake Breakfast or our Capital Campaign.
Family Advisory Council: provide guidance and support for family activities and events.
Human Rights Committee: provide advice and advocacy to assure that rights of individuals are upheld in accordance with laws and regulations.
Workforce Development: Identify ways to improve staff and volunteer recruitment, retention, and training.
Office Support: Volunteer to help answer phones, assist with mailings, and miscellaneous activities.
Circle of Friends: Help start a Circle of Friends to provide friendships and activities for children and adults.
Community and Business Partnerships: Explore ways to market and enhance our mission to raise awareness and bring in donations to support for our activities.
