  • Chad * Direct Support Professional
    Chad * Direct Support Professional

Chad supports Chris weekly. They volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul thrift shop in Plainville, MA. Chad will prompt Chris as needed, but Chris usually knows where things go based on the criteria of the item. We genuinely appreciate how Chad supports Chris' goal of working as independently as possible. We also love the smiles and laughs they have together, as Chad has worked with Chris for many years.

    John * Direct Support Professional

John supports people throughout the week with the activities they enjoy. John supports Michael, who enjoys going fishing to spend some time outdoors. John supports him by baiting the hook and releasing the fish! Michael also really enjoys going to The Laughing Shield Comic Shop to search for comic covers he does not own yet. John helps Michael develop social skills with people in the shop. John has also supported Michael in improving his financial skills to pay on his own. John also supports and guides Dillon... so he can bowl as independently as possible.

GIVE FOR A STRONGER COMMUNITY

GREATER ATTLEBORO STRONGER

TOGETHER FUND DRIVE

The Arc of Bristol County has joined other nonprofit partners in our local community to start the Greater Attleboro Stronger Together Fund drive – an opportunity for our community to come together to support our neighbors in need.

The Arc of Bristol County is proud to be one of the Fund’s nonprofit partners. As you may know, our community-based fund aims to raise $1.5 million by the end of April in an effort to provide critically needed support to individuals and organizations in our community that have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. We need your help.

The Greater Attleboro Stronger Together Fund is a collective effort of 26 nonprofits from Attleboro, North Attleboro, Norton, Mansfield, Rehoboth, and Dighton to support our community’s most vulnerable through the COVID-19 crisis. Your financial support will help nonprofits provide food, emergency cash relief, housing support, childcare, mental health support, and more critical services through this crisis and into the future.

Please help us be stronger together. Make your gift to the Fund today. The Fund Drive will continue through Monday, April 27th.
