With Self-Directed Supports, you decide how to spend your Medicaid long-term care dollars. You make the choices; proPartnerships provides the guidance and tools you need to make it work!

Our Role:
proPartnerships is a Fiscal Intermediary (FI). As a Fiscal Intermediary, we assist you, the employer, in managing your self-directed support budget according to your approved plan.
•Complete all required tax forms and pay all taxes associated with your program to the Federal and State Governments.
•Process digitally submitted employee payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
•Review and pay invoices associated with your approved budget. -
Your Role:
All persons receiving services from proPartnerships are legally considered sole proprietors, each having their own individual Employment Identification Numbers (EIN) provided to them by the Internal Revenue Service.
Contact a plan writer. Set person-centered goals. Determine goods and service requests.
Find, hire, fire, train, supervise, and schedule support staff.
Determine the rate of pay for support staff. Submit signed timesheets following the payroll schedule.
You can also choose to get services from a DDD/BHDDH agency or another agency that can help you meet your goals.
Another feature of self-directed supports is Goods and Services, allowing individuals to use their funding to purchase goods and services to support their health, wellbeing, and goals.
