Who We Are

Our 24/7 staffed homes in Bristol County, Massachusetts, support adults with acquired brain injuries (ABI) and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they learn daily living skills, build relationships, and integrate into their community.

Residential Supports

  • Eligibility

    Adults aged 22 and older with disabilities who are referred by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS).

  • Services and Supports

    The Arc of Bristol County is dedicated to supporting our residents with accessible, renovated homes that meet their needs. Each home has individual bedrooms and shared common living areas.

    -24/7 direct care and emergency support, including assistance with daily routines such as eating, personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and laundry.
    -Health management, including medication monitoring, medical appointments, and opportunities for physical activity and exercise.
    -Money management support, including bill payment, budgeting, and savings.
    -Advocacy for individuals and families, plus community involvement through volunteering, social activities, and group meals.

Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Supports

  • Eligibility

    Acquired brain injury after the age of 22, and referred by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS).

  • Services and Supports

    The Arc of Bristol County is committed to supporting our residents through six accessible and modernized homes designed to meet their needs, with more on the way. Each home features 3 to 4 individual bedrooms and shares communal living spaces.

    -24/7 direct care and emergency support, including assistance with daily routines such as eating, personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and laundry.
    -Health management, including medication monitoring, medical appointments, and opportunities for physical activity and exercise.
    -Money management support, including bill payment, budgeting, and savings.
    -Advocacy for individuals and families, plus community involvement through volunteering, social activities, and group meals.
