Our organization provides supports and services to over 2,000 individuals with disabilities and their families. We employ over 160 employees throughout 7 local area offices. We are committed to partnering with our members, individuals with disabilities, families, advocates and state/community partners for true integration and citizenship. For over 50 years, The Arcs (local, statewide, and national) have been the leader with establishing capacity building, public policy and community based services for people with intellectual and development disabilities. The Arc is the world’s largest community based organization of and for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It provides an array of services and support for families and individuals and includes over 140,000 members affiliated through more than 780 state and local chapters across the nation. The Arc is devoted to promoting and improving supports and services for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It is our collective vision that every individual and family affected by intellectual disability in the United States has access to the information, advocacy, and skills they need to participate as active citizens of our democracy and contributing members of their community. We work to ensure this reality.
